Multi-Carton Pallet Wrapping

Warehouses, distributors, and retail suppliers often ship pallets built from multiple cartons of different sizes and weights. These mixed loads are harder to stabilize than uniform pallets: cartons can shift, corners can protrude, and the stack can lean during handling and transport.

For this application, we recommend machine stretch film with moderate pre-stretch for high-volume operations, or hand stretch film where wrapping is done manually. The film should be applied from the bottom up with overlapping layers, and extra wraps around the top and bottom edges help lock the load together. For cartons with sharp corners, corner protectors can be added before wrapping to prevent punctures.

The result is a stable, unitized pallet that holds together through stacking, forklift handling, and transport, with reduced carton shifting and fewer load failures.
