Product Description

Wrap film is a general term for packaging materials used to wrap and secure products. Stretch film, which has good tensile properties, is often referred to as stretch film. Therefore, stretch film belongs to a type of stretch film, and some stretch films have low stretch rates or are not stretchable. The main material of stretch film is polyethylene (PE), so it is often referred to as PE stretch film. PE stretch film is an environmentally friendly material that is non-toxic, odorless, and pollution-free, and can reduce atmospheric pollution.

Stretch wrap film can be divided into hand stretch film and machine stretch film according to the usage method. The stretching rate of hand stretch film is generally 200% -400%, while the stretching rate of machine stretch film can reach 300% -500%. The mechanical film requires higher strength, and the fracture strength of high-speed mechanical film needs to be ≥ 35MPa.

There are differences between stretch film and protective film in terms of production process, application field, and environmental protection index. In terms of production process, the stretch film is made of PE polyethylene material, while the protective film is made of ethylene polymerization reaction. In terms of application fields, stretch film is mainly used for logistics transportation, such as alcohol and can packaging, while protective film is mainly used for food packaging, such as supermarkets and microwave food. In terms of environmental protection index, stretch film is more environmentally friendly and can reduce environmental pollution and waste disposal.
