Product Description

The substrate of PVC wrapping film is polyvinyl chloride resin, which is made by rolling or blow molding after adding plasticizers and stabilizers. The finished product is usually in the form of a roll, with a light green color at the core, which is a natural color development of stabilizers (such as barium zinc composite system) in PVC raw materials, rather than artificial dyeing. When stretched, the film thickness decreases and the color changes from green to transparent colorless, making it easier to observe the labels or damage of the internal cables. This feature is more practical in the wire harness pre installation process of automobile production lines - workers can confirm the wire number without tearing off the film.

This product achieves self adhesion through surface electrostatic treatment or the addition of low viscosity pressure-sensitive adhesive. When wrapping, the film layers adhere to each other through intermolecular forces, without relying on thermal shrinkage or tape assistance. Moderate self-adhesive strength: Excessive adhesion can make it difficult to unwind, while insufficient adhesion can lead to looseness after winding. The measured data shows that at 25 ℃, the peeling force between films is within the range of 0.5-1.5N/cm, which can meet the requirements for cable bundle fixation. It should be noted that the self-adhesive layer is sensitive to dust, and the cable surface should be cleaned before winding.

The film adheres through electrostatic cling rather than glue or adhesive coating. It leaves no residue on wires, cables, or hoses after unwrapping, which matters for harness processing and any application where surface cleanliness affects downstream assembly or electrical performance.

High Transparency for Easy Identification

Clear film keeps wire color codes, printed markings, and cable labels visible without unwrapping. This supports faster sorting and inspection in wire and cable manufacturing and harness assembly lines.

Narrow Widths for Cable and Wire Bundling

Available in 6cm to 20cm widths with thickness around 20–30 microns, the film is sized for wrapping cable coils, wire bundles, hoses, and small components. It wraps tightly around curved and irregular shapes where wide pallet film cannot be applied cleanly.

Protection During Storage and Transport

The wrap resists dust, moisture, and surface abrasion, helping protect cable insulation and finished surfaces during handling, warehousing, and shipping.
